FIRST World Championship

Imgur From April 22-27th, we were competing at the FIRST World Championships in St. Louis, MO. We competed alongside 128 FTC teams from around the globe. We were honored with a nomination for the Think Award. We ended up being ranked 38th, with a record of 4 wins, 5 losses, but regardless we were very pleased with our robot's performance. One match, we lost by 3 points, another we had a fluke motor controller freeze, which incapacitated our robot for the match. Overall, we had a great time! For our booth, we made an acrylic edge-lit sign using the same technique as we did for our side panels, again with help from Nexus Design. We also had other lights, and a fancy backdrop with our most generous sponsors. Imgur

We played matches alongside two international teams: Don't throw block from Taiwan, and The Siberian Beasts, from Russia. Imgur

It was very windy at the airport on the way home. Look at all the stuff we brought with us! Imgur
